My dog is all of a sudden pee on the carpet?

She is a Beagle that is almost 2 years old. She is potty trained, and is now all of a sudden going inside the house, with my thoughts to even go outside. She was at the Vet on Friday, so she is not sick. The problem is 9 times out of 10 we don't catch her. But today she was playing, stopped and just starting to pee right on the carpet in front of us. How do i get rid of scratches on my horse?

I noticed the other day that my horse had a open sore/cut on his hind fetlock. after touching it i noticed all of theses scabby bumps on the back of both of his legs next to the sore. Naturally i washed it up with some betadine but i need to get rid of this asap. I heard that it can cripple your horse if not taken care of correctly. Small amount of water coming from crack where wall and floor meet?

i had some toilet problems where the floor ended up totally flooding. It soaked the bathroom floor and my roommates carpet. I got the toilet fixed and everything was fine for a few ays but now i notice water coming out of the wall. I dont think there's any pipes in that part of the wall because my roommates door to the bathroom is a sliding door and the water is coming from the part of the wall that the door actually slides into when he opens it. its a very small amount of water, throughout an entire day i want to say maybe a cup of water comes out but it has gone on for three days now what could it be?

Possibility of being pregnant?

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years, and recently had sex for the first time. Aside from the foster care, I could have written this. But I can hardly remember my childhood AT ALL..just snapshots..(which sux) The only thing I could think of, besides counseling, of course, Is to find something you are good at, or learn something that will increase your self esteem. Plus, you might want to think about getting on anti depressants. It doesn't mean you're week, nor does it make you feel weird. It just takes the edge off of depression/anxiety. It makes things more managable. Once you get a clear perspective and/or get on track( it seems you lost your way, or got side tracked by jerks) you could stop them. BELIEVE ME.( try effexor..works for me).It takes away social anxiety, and just plain old makes things more managable. Good Luck!

Finding Bugs in the room?

Lately my two daughters have been finding bugs in their room. They were found one at a time on one daughters bed then a baby one was found inside a book down the side of the other ones (this one was very clear in colour). The bugs are real small the girls vacuumed their beds and put flea powder on their carpet any one any idea what they could be?

I think I have probably definatley got pleuirsy, I get sudden, crippling pain that is relived by shallow breaths and made worse by deep breaths. It never last longer than a min, and dosn't come that often. I have SLE (lupus) so it does seem likely but the only weird thing is it seems to be in my Kindey area most of the time, and sometimes my chest area, but the pain is nowhere near as bad...is this possible?

Carpet replacement with laminate flooring - Good idea?

In 2010 I purchased my first home. After living here for about a month, I discovered that the previous owners' dog(s) had urinated all over the upstairs carpet. I realized this after my cats started defecating in the hallway up there and I used a black light to show the spots (like 80% coverage in the hallway (!), about 40% coverage in the game room, less in the bedrooms). They did a great job covering it up because no one noticed it except my cats! I had already decided to replace the carpet in the game room with wood laminate because I am putting a pool table in there. Due to the dog urine problem, I decided to also put the wood laminate in the hallway. I figured this would be better than carpet in the long run, especially since I have cats. Now I am wondering 1) if this was a smart thing to do with respect to resale and 2) whether this would be considered an improvement in my home value since the damaged carpet was replaced. I would like to hear some opinions. Note: I will be replacing the bedroom carpet with new carpet, but this hasn't happened yet. Thanks for your help!

Hair Help Pleaseee!!!?

My hair is Naturally straight so it doesnt take long for my curls to go flat it litteraly takes 30 min for all my bouncy curls to just go flat. I was getting ready for school and i usually oart my hair in2 and i did one side and it came out all curly and bouncy (my hair is short ) and i did the other side and as soon as i was finished the one side i had done already was half way flattened out already there was no more bounce to it all the curls basically deflated with the 20 min i did my hair and i figured since my hair was nice and short it would not take that quick for the curls to come out and i even put hair spray right after i did a curl i would do small sections and once i finished curling them then i would put hairspray to keep them from deflating i use the treseme hair spray but if anyone knows how i can keep my hair up in curls all day pleaseee let me know! Doorway carpet damaged by ferrets...any suggestions?

My furry children do not like being denied access to certain rooms, and as a result have damaged the carpet beneath a few doors. I'm not interested in laying more tile or in replacing the carpets at this point. I'm looking for a solution that will cover the damage that has been done and not look horrible. A few of the doors have carpet on one side and ceramic tile on the other, one has carpet on both sides. Is there a transition piece (not sure what they're called) that would be wide enough to cover the damage (about 4" at the widest)? If anyone else has had this problem, I would appreciate any ideas! I have horrible anxiety.... please help?

Hello, I have the exact same problem except I don't have a boyfriend however I did and I used to hate the feeling of looking for constant reassurance from him and being scared about breaking up; but in the end after he DID break up with me. I kind of felt like I was back in control again and had one less thing to worry about. I think the meds block out the bit in your brain that produces anxiety; therefore you don't feel the need to panick anymore.. and as for the constant nausea in stomache i've got that aswell and I just drank some tea and it's helped alot.. I think you need some counciling alongside your tablets to help your thoughts etc, I think you will feel better in no time. And as for the boyfriend I think sometimes it's better to take a step back when you start obsessing because then you are in control.. you have to be strong at times like this. And there are always people here to talk to.

I would pick a new and "deep" color and get several accent pieces in that one color to place around the room. For example, deep red throw pillows, maybe a throw blanket, small decorative pieces to place on tables, all predominately red (or whichever rich color you choose). The reason I suggest a rich color is because if you get anything pale , it will simply fade into the rest of the neutrals (and you have A LOT of neutrals). It's the little things that pull a room together. If you cannot paint the walls, consider either buying or having a friend make a piece or two of artwork that go with your accent color.

you have to keep washing it out. i had the same problem but with red. i would suggest doing this now to keep it from fully staining it and what not. use a super good cleaning solution so it comes out better. because it fades after each wash, then it'll eventually come out if you constantly wash it.

What happened to my ear?

my ear was hurting for about a week. Pain was not too bad, but it bothered me after a few days. a few days later, i was sitting on the couch. And all of a sudden..BOOM! my ear felt like it closed up and my hearing got completely deaf. I was able to pull on my ear, then my hearing came back. Then my hearing would go out again. Pain was starting to get pretty harsh. The next day, my ear still started closing up, but now, i had to put my thumb in my ear and yank it out in order to get my hearing back. my hearing was fine, untill that night, it closed up again, and i couldnt retrieve it. i tried over and over. Then, the pain was incredibly bad. i didnt sleep that whole night. the next day i went to the doctor and he said i had swimmers ear, but i cant find anywhere on the internet where it says it completely inpairs your hearing. then i ran over "perforated eardrum" which does impair hearing and bleeds. but my ear does not bleed. The next day the pain was even worse. i was in extreme agony nearly screaming at the top of my lungs. The next day, after taking medicine, my pain is a little less. And now, my pain is almost completely soothed, and the swelling has deflated mostly. But my hearing is still completely impaired. What's happened?

Period nightmare! Help!?

I got an academic achievement award, so why am I upset?

This year I got a Social studies award. It is given to the student that has the highest average in Social studies for that team. There are 4 teams in my grade, and about 300 students in my grade. I was pretty proud of the award at first, because I noticed how well I was doing in Social studies. I've gotten straight A+ each marking period, and last marking period my grade was 99.6%. My teacher congratulated me, but when I asked him what I did to get it, he explained that I had the highest average in my team. Great. Then he went on to tell me, that my close friend, who is a complete genius and outshines me in everything, could have gotten a higher average then me, but didn't receive the award because she got a Team Award. Basically instead of just having the highest average in Social Studies, she has the highest average in all her classes, thus she wasn't able to receive my award. I'm not sure if that means she did get a higher average than me, or she could have, but he meant I still would have gotten the award anyway. Either way, it kind of deflated my mood. I love my friend, but it seems like I'm always second to her. I get great grades, just not as great as hers. My one teacher likes me, but adores her. I just feel like I'm like her, but not as good as her, and It does get to me sometimes. Then I finally get an award, and yet I'm told she could have still outdone me. We got a kitten about a month ago. She's barley two months old. When we first brought her home we put her in the litter box and moved her paw and bam she starting using it. How to cure noisy neighbours who won't turn down music volume and laugh off complaints from neighbours about t?

Hi All, I stay in a block of flats in Edinburgh and a guy has moved in above me who continually plays his music at such a high volume that I battle to hear my TV at full volume. He continually moves stuff around the flat and dropping what appear to be heavy objects. I would imagine that his floors are laminated as every sound carries to me who stays below. Myself and the guy who stay above him have been to talk to him about the noises and he ignores us and says its his flat and he'll do as he wishes. He is a tenant in the flat and we cannot find out his landlords name to make a complaint to her. He walks around the flat from room to room and I can hear every sound he makes, if carpets were fitted in his flat it would make 100% difference to the sounds being carried, and all of these complaints happen at all hours of the day whether its 3pm or 3 am. I am a shift worker and this is starting to affect my well being and sleep patterns. Any suggestions on a pay back that would alter his opinion.

Theyre your neighbors, just let it go. Its not like they purposefully popped the pool, they werent even there, its not like they can teach the cat not to scratch things. If it was a major thing that the cat destroyed, then I would pursue it, but a kiddie pool costs like $5-10. Just admit that it was an accident, get a new one if you wish, and this time be more responsible with it. Im sorry to say it, but this is sort of more your part of negligence then theirs, when you are done with a inflatable kiddie pool, you deflate it and put it away, leaving it out all the time is just asking for it to get popped, thats like laying $20 on a park bench, walking away for an hour, and getting mad when someone takes it. Why are my guinea pigs so shy when they are out of their cage?

i know its good to give them time out of their cage but everytime i put them on the ground to run around, their so scared, i put tunnels on the ground and blankets and they straight away hide under, they dont do this when they are in their cage, when they are on the floor they run in my lap or up my sleeve they look more scared than having fun, is it bad if don't give them floor time? i still let them on my bed and run around and they are fine with that, every second day i let them outside in their hutch and they are fine, its only when they are on carpet or tiles in my house, why are they so scared of everything else but their hutch cage & my bed?

A boil may be possible as well, but boils tend to hurt REALLY bad. You wouldn't be able to squeeze it. So it it most likely an ingrown hair. Try an after-shave on the skin or alcohol to dry it out.

Best/Cheap way to sound proof a pet room (crating a puppy)?

Hey all, I recently bought an 8 week old puppy and I'm currently in the process of crating him. I'm being told that if I crate him and keep his crate next to me, he will not be able to be alone for while I'm at work ( I work nine hour shifts, but come home at lunch, so he will only be alone for 4 hours at a time). I currently live in an apartment and am trying to sound proof his "room." His room consists of a giant walk-in closet. I signed up for a 30 day challenge, which has started taking a toll on my energy and vitality. I feel so depleted at night time, that I'm unable to focus my mind on tasks I want to accomplish. A while ago I had a really sad dream. There were these two old women that looked like each other, they might have been twins, idk. They were both kind of tall and had orange/gray curly hair. What do landlords do with the security deposit?

Owners, in particular. Do they typically get interest on it, spend it, or what? I'm just wondering because at my last place when I moved out they told me they had no record of how much I had paid for my security deposit. I provided four year old check copies and insinuated that I might sue them if it wasn't returned in accordance with law. I wasn't gonna ask for interest, talk about choose your battles. They complied, returned it(less $80 for carpet cleaning). Is it typical for owners and property managers to not know how much was paid for a security deposit and to have no record of it? Our ground floor bedroom was flooded about a year ago, the landlord hired professional cleaners to dry the carpet, the carpet and underlay was never removed from the cement floor, wardrobes and bed were never moved, they said it would be fine. Can straining your eyes to focus cause vitreous floaters?

I'm a 24-year-old male. I posted a question on here not long ago about vitreous floaters. My situation is quite complex, but I'll try to explain. I suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I have a particularly bad obsession with proofreading things to the point where I have to look at every individual letter of a word. I often have to strain my eyes in order to do this. Is it possible that eye strain can cause vitreous floaters? I gather that the general consensus is no. I've tried to think about this. Straining your eyes to focus would mean putting stress on the ciliary muscle that changes the shape of the lens, right? Could this muscle being pushed to the extreme, and therefore the lens being pushed to the extreme, somehow cause vitreous floaters? I go through absolute hell with my OCD, as I know many others do, and I'm now worried that this crippling mental illness may have caused these vitreous floaters. Thanks for your replies.

okay so i just got a male maltese puppy yesterday and ever since it got home it wouldn't be quiet. All night and day it whimpered also the breeder said that he was pee pad trained but he always pees on the carpet and poos at the very same spot! Burn Blister on foot popped...now what?

Ok, so I burned the bottom of my foot on charcoal about 2 weeks ago and had a blister about 3/4th of an inch in diameter. It recently popped on it's on...maybe today (only on one small section on the outside). Where it popped hurts alot...and the skin underneath is VERY sensitive. I've cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, and put antibiotic ointment on it...is there anything else I should do with this painful, deflated burn blister? Is it ok to just wait for the rest to fall off? Is it normal for the exposed part to be this sensitive?

No, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. The reason why you can't get her out of your head is because you miss her. You want to be with her. You need her, and when she's gone you just feel so alone and lost, that's only because you love her, a lot. It's hard to move on and stuff, I can relate. You guys been together for so long now and it's not easy to move on and let her go. Especially when she was someone whom you loved very much and cherished. But none of it is your fault, people change and that includes feelings. Sooner or later you'll find someone else and get over her. It may not be now or anytime soon but maybe a couple of months or maybe years. This kind of feeling is not something that can be healed over a short period of time. For some people it can take them years just to forget that one special person. But just know that it's not a medical problem so you don't need to worry. I just hope things work out :). Hello, I have the exact same problem except I don't have a boyfriend however I did and I used to hate the feeling of looking for constant reassurance from him and being scared about breaking up; but in the end after he DID break up with me. I kind of felt like I was back in control again and had one less thing to worry about. I think the meds block out the bit in your brain that produces anxiety; therefore you don't feel the need to panick anymore.. and as for the constant nausea in stomache i've got that aswell and I just drank some tea and it's helped alot.. I think you need some counciling alongside your tablets to help your thoughts etc, I think you will feel better in no time. And as for the boyfriend I think sometimes it's better to take a step back when you start obsessing because then you are in control.. you have to be strong at times like this. And there are always people here to talk to.

Severe Fear of People and I don't know what to do?

Ok so I have a severe and crippling fear of people. I don't ever leave the house except when I am forced to by my parents. I honestly don't know whats wrong with me. I've been to multiple therapists who assume I have Social Phobia but I don't think I do. My problem isn't really with talking to people its with being around them. If I am around other people or even just one person I have really bad panic attacks. If I'm sitting in the car in a parking lot and I see someone walk by I have a panic attack. They don't even have to be near the car. Even if I don't see the people but I know someone is there like in another room I have panic attacks. I can't talk on the phone for the same reasons. While currently writing this I'm starting to feel the beginning effects of panic attacks. I could just be sitting at home but if I even think about something involving human contact I freak out. I'm at the end of my rope with what to do. While I've gone to therapy I can never last more than 4 sessions before I can't force myself to endure the fear any longer. Every time I go it gets harder not easier. So I can't go to therapy. I'm miserable and it sucks. I can't get a job for the obvious reasons and I can't move out. I'm 20 soon to be 21 and still living with my parents but I need to get out of here but I don't know how. I have no way to make money. While being with my family when around others used to make me a little more comfortable, now Its getting to the point where I don't want to be around my family because I'm becoming more uncomfortable. I don't know whats wrong with me or what to do but I need help and don't know how to get it. So if you can offer suggestions I would seriously appreciate it. I just can't take this and the constant fear anymore.

Landlords responsibility for Carpet?

This is a tough one....They may be sensitive or allergic to the smell so it is your responsibility to resolve this.....Steaming a carpet is not a solution as the pee goes into the padding and cant be extracted.......As a Landlord I have learned the hard way that carpet sucks...and install quality pre finished hardwood floors and tile in my rentals...I have also pulled every inch of carpet from my own home.. Yes hardwood floors will cost you but their are attractive and a solid investment in your property...Then you never have problems like this.....Also -never allow pets.

Is my bike worth fixing or should I just buy a new one?

Today I found my old bike from back when I was a kid. I'm 20 so this wasn't so long ago. I decided to fix it up but I've ran into a few problems. I don't know anythinga bout bikes so I'm not sure if this is worth fixing or if I should just buy a new one. First off, the chain is a rusty mess. Second, the inner tube on the back tire is deflated and all tangled up in the spokes and chain. The seat is covered in mold and most of the caps on the handle bar are gone. It was never some high quality bike, just something I got for my 11th birthday at Toy's R Us probably. My Nike Air Maxes randomly inflated?

Today, I was at the Indy 500 wearing my 2009 white Nike air maxes. I stopped for about 10 seconds and then started walking again and noticed that my heel felt like I had stepped in gum. When I looked, there was no gum and the heel of my shoe was actually inflated. There is literally a circular bump that sticks out of the bottom of my shoe. It's uncomfortable and it only happened on my left shoe. The right is still fine. I didn't abuse my shoes at all or anything of the sort and this is my first pair of Air Maxes ever. I know that heat expands air, but it wasn't that hot and as I said, the right shoe is fine. There also aren't any noticeable holes in the shoe. What do I do? Is there a way to pop it? Just be consistent and pay attention to when she is drinking water and how long the interval is until she needs to go. Also, I wouldn't scatter the ground with treats in the place you want her to pee. Many dogs won't urinate or defecate in a place where they have found food. For our terriers, we would just wait until they drank a bunch of water, give them about half an hour, then take them out to the grass and just let them walk around until they were done. When they finally went, we would praise them massively, then go inside. I've never really tried to stick to a schedule too much, but I would give the dog at least two weeks. It takes time, but you'll be so glad you stuck with it.

I've had plumbing problems in this place already as well so I'm wondering if the pipes could be leaking under the floor making the carpet damp. I'm staying at my boyfriends now and took my pets with me, but I'm feeling really off, like nauseous and really tired with a headache. I'm going to contact my landlord tomorrow, but should I be concerned about how I feel right now or will it subside? Thanks

Severe Fear of People and I don't know what to do?

Ok so I have a severe and crippling fear of people. I don't ever leave the house except when I am forced to by my parents. I honestly don't know whats wrong with me. I've been to multiple therapists who assume I have Social Phobia but I don't think I do. My problem isn't really with talking to people its with being around them. If I am around other people or even just one person I have really bad panic attacks. If I'm sitting in the car in a parking lot and I see someone walk by I have a panic attack. They don't even have to be near the car. Even if I don't see the people but I know someone is there like in another room I have panic attacks. I can't talk on the phone for the same reasons. While currently writing this I'm starting to feel the beginning effects of panic attacks. I could just be sitting at home but if I even think about something involving human contact I freak out. I'm at the end of my rope with what to do. While I've gone to therapy I can never last more than 4 sessions before I can't force myself to endure the fear any longer. Every time I go it gets harder not easier. So I can't go to therapy. I'm miserable and it sucks. I can't get a job for the obvious reasons and I can't move out. I'm 20 soon to be 21 and still living with my parents but I need to get out of here but I don't know how. I have no way to make money. While being with my family when around others used to make me a little more comfortable, now Its getting to the point where I don't want to be around my family because I'm becoming more uncomfortable. I don't know whats wrong with me or what to do but I need help and don't know how to get it. So if you can offer suggestions I would seriously appreciate it. I just can't take this and the constant fear anymore.

So some might already know this, and I might have just learned but we bought a foreclosed home about a month ago, and the carpet in the living room smelled horrible... it's in good shape, just had an odor to it. After I tried every carpet fresh on the market, nothing helped. After some research I found that baking soda takes the smell out. I sprinkled it on my carpet last night and woke up this morning to a completely FRESH living room. Apparently it works on all types of odors. I thought it was just for the fridge! I am more wide than thick, and my exercise consists of running at least half a mile a day because that is our warm up in P.E, then after we play a sport for like 20 minutes. I have tried hard, I eat about 1800 calories a day, I don't drink anything else than water but i only drink 1-3 cups a day because I am never thirsty. Can u plz help.

Is it the antidepressants or me that is making me emotional?

I started taking antidepressants about a month ago and since then I've been so tired and really emotional. I cry every day and I don't understand why, and if someone says something and I take it the wrong way, I get really down. My Xbox is overheating!!!?

My Xbox just gets 2 red rings. I searched google and I found out that it means that's it's overheating. So I let it cool down for about 4-5 hours and get back on to play and it works for about 5 minutes and then it shuts off again. I was told to get it off the carpet so I did but it still won't work. I put about 5 psp cases under the xbox so it doesent over heat on my stand but nothing. Does any one know any tips or tricks I can do to prevent it. Is it normal for antibiotics to make your tummy swollen, to the point where you look 6 month pregnant?!?

I finished a couse of ofolaxillin yesterday morning. from the start of my 7 day course, my tummy swelled right up, and i have been feeling huge movements like baby kicks. I actually did a pregnancy test i was so worried, and even tho that was neg, i've still worried that i could be preg, as my belly is huge and the feeling is so intense. I finished the course 36 hrs ago, and my tummy doesn't seem to be deflating. i know it's not fat as it's really hard!! so could it be the antibiotics, can they give you digestive problems to that extent, and if so, when should i expect to deflate?!?!

Oh my god. PLEASE help. Fleas or bedbugs?!?

I've got this little red bites all over. They're very itchy. I've done some research to try to figure out if they are from fleas, or bedbugs or something else all together. I put a picture of some of the bites up, the quality isn't good but its the best I can do. I do NOT have carpet in my room and my mattress is brand new. We just got it a few months ago. And we have no pets and don't live close to anyone that does so I have no idea what these bugs are or where they came from. Anyway, I was leaning towards fleas, because I have seen some of these bugs crawling around on my floor. I have seen them jump, which makes me think they're fleas. They're small and black or brown. They aren't hard to squish though? I've killed probably six of them with a book in the past hour. Also, I saw that fleas mostly bite your lower legs and I only have on bite on my ankle and several on my thighs, behind my knee, my upper arm, and a few on my stomach. Also, I read bed bugs hide in clothes and my room was VERY messy with tons of clothes everywhere. I just cleaned it yesterday, which is when I started seeing the bugs. I've only seen them on the floor. I just really need to know what these are so I can know how to go about getting rid of them. Fiance wont get rid of cat even though its a hazard to our child's health!?

my fiance and i have had this cat for less than 6 months and he will not get rid of it even though our house smells like ammonia from the cat peeing on our carpet! im due any day now to have our child and the cat will not stop urinating everywhere and the smell is so bad it gives me a headache! he works nights and sleeps all day so he isnt here long enough to catch the cat urinating on everything. lately the cat has been clawing at our daughters door trying to get in and one day i didnt shut the door all the way and the cat ran in and tried to pee by her crib and when i yelled at the cat it ran under the crib and tried urinating there! im 9 months pregnant and its hard for me to get up quickly and the cat will pee in the floor and when i go to get up to stop it, it will run right past me and hide under the couch. i dont know if its doing this out of spite bc hes angry my fiance works all the time or whats going on with the cat. i know that the smell and ammonia is horrible for the baby and so does he but he still will not get rid of it! any suggestions?
