How to confront neighbors about damaged property?
Theyre your neighbors, just let it go. Its not like they purposefully popped the pool, they werent even there, its not like they can teach the cat not to scratch things. If it was a major thing that the cat destroyed, then I would pursue it, but a kiddie pool costs like $5-10. Just admit that it was an accident, get a new one if you wish, and this time be more responsible with it. Im sorry to say it, but this is sort of more your part of negligence then theirs, when you are done with a inflatable kiddie pool, you deflate it and put it away, leaving it out all the time is just asking for it to get popped, thats like laying $20 on a park bench, walking away for an hour, and getting mad when someone takes it. Plus its a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
