What is wrong with my african cichlids eye? It looks like it has a bubble over?

I have 8 African cichlids. A few days ago, I bought a little blue kenyi and he was fine. Tonight i looked at him, and it looks like he has a bubble over each eye. One eye, it looks like the bubble has been deflated already and the other eye, the bubble is still fully inflated. What is this? Is it contagious? Or is one of my other cichlids picking on him? He is the smallest one in the tank, but he is acting the same-he is still eating and swimming around in the middle like he always has. What should I do?
